Suspended?

Last week, FTVLive told you that WTOC (Savannah) Meteorologist Jamie Ertle called a weather blogger a “drunk donkey” during a Facebook live report.

Her comment appeared to be directed at Mike Boylan, who runs Mike’s Weather Page on Facebook.

After she called him a “Drunk Donkey” and a number of people called her out, Ertle apologized on social media.

Sources tell FTVLive that appears that Ertle was given some time off following her comments. The station has not said anything, but viewers in Savannah tell FTVLive she was off the air.

Was it a suspension?

It is likely we will never know, since TV stations love reporting on everyone else, but never when it’s about them.
