KSAZ Anchor Andrea Andrea Robinson, who has been part of the morning show on Fox 10 since 2006, announced on Facebook that she will be leaving the program at the end of September.

"All great things come to an end," she posted on Thursday morning. "Some bittersweet news to share today and hopefully the answer to MANY of your questions: September 26th will be my last day on the morning show."

Questions about her future at the station emerged in August, when she changed the branding on her Facebook page from a Fox 10 account to the more generic AndreaRobinsonOnTV.

"I have CHOSEN this after long & thoughtful prayer for many, many months. MY decision was carefully made & I decided not to renew my contract this Fall," she writes. "For nearly 15 years, I have been given the GREATEST responsibility of waking you all up & starting your day off with a dose of love & positivity."

In the note, she says family is the reason she has made the decision. She also thanks the viewers for their loyalty.

It should be noted that at the Fox O&O’s as contracts are coming up for talent, many are being told they have to take a pay cut if they want to stay on. Or if they are offered a raise, most often it is 2% or less.

No word if this played into Robinson’s decision, but if we were betting, we would say yes.
