/I have said it before that when it comes to watching TV, I don't do it very often.
4 years ago, I cut the cord and for 3 1/2 years I did not watch any TV.
Then, just before The Masters, I joined DirecTV Now and signed up for their basic package.
It's DirecTV without the dish. The streaming package I have cost just $35 a month and it gives me most of what I want to see.
Also, in Florida it is better than regular DirecTV that is sent down from a satellite.
You see, in Florida when the afternoon thunderstorms roll in, the DirecTV signal was lost all the time.
It was the reason I dumped the service in the first place. With streaming, I don't deal with that signal lost and I pay a lot less money than I did years ago.
Yesterday, I got an email from DirecTV saying that they had added the NFL Network to my package and it was included in the cost. I was happy to read this, but I was a bit disappointed when I turned on my TV and was not able to find the NFL Network anywhere.
Then this morning, I got this email:
If want to read lies in my email, I'll sign up for Match.com.
I think DireTV should give me a little something for the confusion and the frustration.
I won't hold my breath.
