Axios first reported yesterday that White House counsel Don McGahn would be stepping down in the Fall.

Axios cited anonymous sources saying that McGahn would be stepping down after Brett Kavanaugh is confirmed to the Supreme Court, or after the midterms. 

Earlier in the day, President Trump tweeted out this: 

But after the Axios story dropped, Trump then tweeted out this: 

So, in other words, the story that quoted anonymous sources was correct and Trump confirmed it was correct which totally proved that his tweet earlier in the day was complete bullshit. 

I guess when he tweeted that, he was talking more about this kind of crap that should not be believed:
