KSDK (St. Louis) morning Anchor Rene Knott has signed a 5 year contract extension at the Tegna station.

“To be a member of the 5 On Your Side team is an honor. So many great people have walked through our newsroom and onto our set over the years that it reads like a who’s who, and to be mentioned in the conversation is humbling,” said Knott.

“Rene is committed to serving St. Louis by delivering better mornings alongside Allie Corey, Chester Lampkin, and Anthony Slaughter,” said President and General Manager Alicia Elsner. “Outside of his demanding schedule, he also serves local non-profits on a weekly basis by serving as emcee or auctioneer. His talent touches the community in front of the camera and behind the scenes.”

Sure, it's here that I could make some snarky Tegna joke....but I'm maturing and don't feel the need to do so.

Plus, I'm really tired and can't come up with anything that good.
