NO!

When Richard Russell stole a plane from the Seattle airport and went on a high altitude joy ride, before crashing it, a guy with the Twitter handle @drbmbdgty was one of the first to catch video of the plane.

@drbmbdgty captured video of the plane and the F-15 that were scrambled to intercept it.  

It wasn't long after he posted the video that media outlets started reaching out to him for permission to use the video. @drbmbdgty was not in a sharing mood:

He did give permission to Portland's KPTV and they seemed to be the only one.

Soon, his "No" response became the running joke on his Twitter page. Here's a few examples:
