Laura Harris has been at Tampa's WFTS since 2012, but she is headed out of the Sunshine State.

According to an internal memo obtained by FTVLive, Harris is headed to NBC O&O KXAS in Dallas.

Here is the memo from WFTS News Director Matt Brown:

Laura (Harris) is off today, but wanted to pass along the news about her next destination… Dallas, Texas. Laura will be an anchor/reporter for NBC5, KXAS in Dallas, a station that’s owned and operated by NBC. Dallas is one of the fastest-growing top 10 markets and KXAS is either #1 or #2 in most dayparts. Congrats Laura!

Harris came to Tampa from WCIV in Charleston. Before Charleston, she worked at WNEG in Athens, GA.

No word yet on a start date in Dallas.
