The Deuce is Done in LA (Updated)

Sources tell FTVLIve that KNBC Assistant News Director Matt Goldberg is leaving the NBC O&O for a new gig. 

Goldberg has been in the NBC O&O family since 2003, when he started at KNBC as a Producer. He moved up The 5 to be the Assistant News Director at KNTV in San Jose for a couple of years but then returned to KNBC as Managing Editor. 

10 months ago he was bumped up to the Deuce and sources now say he is headed East for a News Director job outside the NBC O&O family.

Updated: Another source is telling FTVLive that Goldberg is staying in the NBC news family and will be resurfacing in the New York area soon.
