On Tuesday, FTVLive broke the news that former MSNBC Anchor Thomas Roberts was going to soon resurface as the new main Anchor at Meredith's WGCL in Atlanta.

Although, no one was talking and the WGCL staff had not been told, FTVLive told you that Roberts could be on the air as soon as Monday.

A day later, the Atlanta Journal Constitution also was able to confirm the story that FTVLive FIRST broke. The AJC's Rodney Ho wrote, "CBS46 news director Steve Doerr declined to comment but the news leaked out to FTVLive this week. I was able to confirm the move from multiple sources."

Props to Ho for giving credit to FTVLive for breaking the story, something many so called media writers are too jealous to do.

There is no doubt that landing Roberts is a very good get for a station that seems to shoot itself in the foot over and over again.

Maybe, just maybe, this is the time WGCL can turn around is long streak of bad luck.
