Bumped up in Birmingham
/WVTM Weekend Anchor Brittany Decker is getting a bump up at the Hearst station.
Decker is being moved to the Monday-Friday Anchor at the station.
"We're excited to add Brittany to our weekday team," said WVTM News Director Sue Stephens. "She will be a great addition to our evening newscast as we continue delivering on our commitment of providing viewers the best local news and weather information in Central Alabama."
Decker will join anchors Guy Rawlings, Sheri Falk, Ian Reitz, chief meteorologist Jerry Tracey, and sports director Don Hawes.
"I'm so thankful for the opportunity to take on this new role at WVTM 13," said Brittany Decker. "I'm excited to be a part of everyone's afternoon in Central Alabama and look forward to sharing stories that matter. I appreciate all the viewers who have been so welcoming to me the past couple of years and look forward to growing my career and life here in Alabama!"
She joined the station in 2016.
