New Anchor Named in the Rock

A new morning show anchor is set to join Little Rock’s Fox affiliate, KLRT this morning. 

In a tweet Sunday afternoon, Ashlei King wrote: “Officially in #Arkansas for good! Ready to start work tomorrow at @FOX16News!”

King said she will be the morning anchor for KLRT Good Day program, which airs from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. weekdays.

King referred to her “next chapter in Arkansas” as a “homecoming.”

“I’m a military brat, but the King side of my family is originally from southeast Arkansas,” she told Arkansas Online on Sunday.
