Taking a Shine to the Job?

Bill Shine who at one point was running Fox News, until he was pushed out, might be landing at the White House.

Shine was forced out as co-president at Fox News last May for his handling of sexual harassment scandals at the network.  Word is that he has met with President Trump about taking the West Wing communications job, which has been vacant since Hope Hicks left the job in March.

Word is that he will/or has been offered the job.

As recently as a month ago, Shine didn’t want the job, according to a person familiar with his thinking. The former television executive was reluctant to deal with all the scrutiny, part of which could focus on his own connection to the sexual harassment scandal at Fox News, the person said.

If he takes the job, won't Fox News have a journalistic obligation to report on Shine's actions at Fox News and what led to his ouster?

Anyone that gets the job should have their past looked into and Shine is no exception.

We'll see how this plays out?
