Miami Anchor and Photographer at Hit by Car

WTVJ (Miami) Anchor Johnny Archer and WTVJ Photojournalist Shane Walker, were injured when they were hit by a car while cycling on Key Biscayne Friday morning.

The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. The driver stayed at the scene.

According to station, Walker and Archer were treated by Key Biscayne Fire Rescue and both men said their injuries didn't warrant a trip to the hospital.

Archer, who calls himself a "manic cycling nerd" on his Twitter profile, anchors the weekend evening newscasts.
