Is This Right?

ABC News produced a 1 hour special called Pride, which coincided with Gay Pride marches happening all around the country. 

The special was hosted by ABC's Gio Benitez and his husband Tommy DiDario. As far as we know, DiDario  is not an employee of ABC News and his hosting of the special with his partner seems a bit odd. 

If Lester Holt brought along his wife to co-Anchor coverage of the Royal Wedding, wouldn't that have raised a few eyebrows? 

Hats off to ABC News for doing a special on Gay Pride, but letting an Anchor bring on his husband as his co-host just doesn't seem right. 

If this was E! or Bravo, I would have no problem, but when you go under the ABC News banner, I think the ethics bar is a bit higher. 

But hey, maybe it's just me.
