WMTV (Madison) is blowing up their morning newscast and starting over.

The station used to have the no. 1 rated morning newscast and is now hoping they can bring viewers back to the AM news.

They are going to use a lot of talent to try and do it. They announced that Meghan Reistad and Hannah Flood will join Tim Elliott as the anchors of NBC15’s “The Morning Show” starting Monday, June 25. Together, with Chief Meteorologist Charlie Shortino and Reporter Kalie Greenberg, it will make up a big team.

“Our goal is to be the #1 choice for viewers in our area. We see the opportunity and believe we have just the right team working on-air and behind-the-scenes to give viewers a reason to watch and start their day with us,” said Jessica Laszewski, WMTV NBC15 News Director.
