Anchor Goes on Farewell Tour

WRAL is sure milking the retirement of longtime Anchor Bill Leslie as much as they can. 

Leslie retires at the end of the month, but the station is first going to put him on parade before he goes. 

Starting tonight on the newscast, Leslie is launching his five-day farewell tour (What is he the Beatles?) across the WRAL viewing area.

The tour kicks off in Raleigh at Mia Francesca restaurant at North Hills. Leslie then heads to Smithfield, Cary, Fayetteville and Durham.

At each stop, Leslie will sign autographs, hand out Bill Leslie merchandise and chat with friends and fans.

WRAL indicates that Leslie, an accomplished musician and recording artist, might even perform.

The more we read about Leslie's sign off, the more we appreciate this guy.
