Man Shoots Himself on Live TV
/The LA stations were covering another police pursuit and this one did not end well. Cops were chasing a guy in a UHaul picked up and when the suspected pulled over, you could see that he was holding a handgun to his head.
Sadly, he pulled the trigger and killed himself live on TV.

This isn't the first time, or the last time that this will happen. Some people think that this video should not have shown, yet it should be pointed out that they watching it.
Showing car chases is the crack cocaine of TV news. It's easy to do and it is guaranteed to draw viewers in.
Also, when a person is barreling down a freeway with a bunch of cops on their tail, it is by the very definition news.
Viewers claim they don't want to see stuff like this, yet there they are as in front of the screen as the chases happen.
People can blame the TV stations for showing this news porn, but those same people have every right not to watch it.
It is sad how this chase ended and it has to be really sad for his family and friends, but blaming the TV stations for covering the news that happens in front of them is wrong. At least that's the way we see it.
