Meredith's WGLC in Atlanta has lost another body in the newsroom.

Sources tell FTVLIve that longtime Reporter Keith Whitney has left the station and the news business altogether. 

Whitney has been a fixture in Atlanta television for more than two decades. He joined WGCL in February 2017 and has already decided to leave. 

Steve Doerr told the staff in the morning meeting that Whitney was gone from the station. 

Station insiders wonder what happened to the two weeks notice? Yesterday a news assistant was spotted boxing up Whitney's desk.
