Sources tell FTVLive that KCTV (Kansas City) main receptionist left the station for a job at a local radio station. 

Word is that the idea was floated by management to have KCTV's main Anchors Brad Stephens and Ellen McNamara “answer the station phones” in the afternoon to “make more personal connections” with the station's viewers.

Sources tell FTVLive that in the end, it was decided that maybe this was not the best use of their anchors talents and they will stay in the newsroom.

The idea that this idea was even talked about is head shaking to say the least.
