Ditching the Wig in Boston

Yesterday, FTVLIve showed you that WVEC (Norfolk) Meteorologist Crystal Harper who took on cancer and kicked it's ass, got very emotional as she took off her wig live on the air. 

Harper had worn the wig the entire time she was fighting cancer and decided it was time to say goodbye to her security blanket. 

She wasn't the only one to say goodbye to the fake hair. 

FTVLive has been telling you about NBC Boston Reporter Natasha Verma who also took on cancer and won. 

Verma also wore a wig that she designed and even started a foundation to help other cancer victims who lost their hair (FTVLive donated and if you want to here's the link). 

Verma also took the step of saying goodbye to the wig. 

I think you will agree, wig or not these women are beautiful, not because of their hair, but because of their strength and will to be cancer.
