The Deuce is Bumped up in the Big Apple
/WABC has finally gotten around to naming a new News Director and they did not have to go far to find him.
The station has bumped up Assistant News Director Chad Matthews to the big chair. Matthews has been the Deuce at the station for just over a year, coming from WTVJ in Miami. But, before heading to SoFlo Matthews spent a dozen years at WABC in the Producer ranks.
He takes over for Camille Edwards who left the station under controversy and a number of lawsuits.
