Dunk The Newswomen

Over in Springfield, Illinois a local charity is holding a dunk tank to raise money for homeless pets. 

Of course, raising money for animals is very near and dear to my heart, but we noticed something. 

There is a number of news talent from WICS and each and everyone of them are women.

Not sure having you female Anchors and Reporters being dunked is great for the credibility, despite the fact it's for a good cause. Also, when you send only women from the station to the dunk tank, then it leans a bit sexist. 

Of the 7 people that will enter the dunk tank, 5 of them are females from WICS. The other two is a radio personality (also female) and a dog trainer is the lone male. 

I love the fact that the money is being raised to help pets, but I think the station should have sent at least a couple of guys to make it look a little less exploitive. 

Also, a tip the the ladies, don't wear white.
