Heading Out of High Point

WGHP (Greensboro, High Point) Anchor Kerry Charles told viewers that he is signing off from the station. 

Charles has been at the Tribune owned station for nearly 7 years and it appears that he is getting out before Sinclair comes in. 

Charles told viewers that he is headed to a TV station in Atlanta, but did not say which one. 

“I am going to miss this place,” Kerry said. “I came here hoping to do three years, then be done! But, this area truly became home. The people took me in. The station trusted me. More than anything, I grew as a person and a leader. I will carry so many positive experiences with me.”
