Sweeps Piece or Fire Department PR?

This is an old sweeps month staple....

Have your Anchor dress up and play police officer or firefighter. 

That's what Sinclair owned WRGB (Albany) did with Anchor Anne McCloye. 

McCloy got to play firefighter and then report on it. I'm not sure if it was a sweeps story or just a flat out promotional video for the fire department?
