Sweeps Stunt

KNSD (San Diego) is sending their morning anchor team to local coffee shops to share a cup of joe with the viewers. 

Yesterday, the Anchors shared coffee and tea with their viewers in the South Bay at Agave Coffee and Cafe in Chula Vista. 

"We never get to see who's on the other side of the camera. It's nice to talk face to face with the people who get up with us every day," said Greg Bledsoe, morning anchor.

"It gives us the chance to really hear what people have to say in person," added morning anchor Marianne Kushi.

The station is offering a free cup of coffee at three more coffee places every Monday through the month of May.

It's a "thank you " gesture to all the fans and viewers of the morning show and a welcome to new viewers.

Especially if they have a Nielsen meter.
