The End in Boston?

Sources tell FTVLIve that a meeting has been called at NBC Boston and it will be announced that News Director Kenny Plotnik will be leaving the station.
This comes as no surprise to readers of FTVLive. Back in August of last year, FTVLive wrote, "Sources tell FTVLive that NBC management has been less than impressed with NBC Boston News Director Kenny Plotnik and the ice under his feet is getting thinner."
In January, FTVLive named Plotnik one of the worst people in TV News for 2017 and at the time we said, "NBC Boston has not delivered and talk that Plotnick might be put out to pasture one more time. Some think it could as early as after the Feb book."
5 days ago, FTVLive FIRST told you that it appeared the end was near for the ego driven News Director.
If that indeed Plotnik is out, it will be interesting to see how he spins it this time. Will he once again say that he is "retiring" like last time, or will he have a different excuse?
