Former CNN/CBS Anchor is Dead

Reid Collins who worked for CNN when it was still a cable news network has died.

Reports say that the former CNN anchor died in his sleep.

Collins joined the network, in 1985 and retired July 1996. He covered politics, space, papal funerals and other worldwide events.

Before joining CNN he worked at CBS News 1965-85, where he anchored CBS’ roundup radio broadcast.

He was 88 years old.
