Extra Credit

OK, FTVLive wants to get one thing clear. FTVLive is one word, sort of like Madonna and Sting.

Often times, other websites and newspapers steal content from FTVLive and not give us the proper credit. Then when they do, they get the name wrong and call us FTV Live.

But, I do want to give a few outlets some props for at least trying to give FTVLive credit.

Yesterday, FTVLive was the FIRST To tell you about the two Milwaukee Reporters that got in a fight at a Brewers baseball game. One Reporter was arrested (story here).

After FTVLive posted the story, the awesome sports website Deadspin picked up on the FTVLive story and while giving us all kinds of credit that called us FTV Live.  But still, it's nice to get the credit. Thanks Dead Spin (see what I did there?).

The Milwaukee Journal picked up on the FTVLIve story and while they spelled our name right, they didn't give us a link. Oh well, what do you expect from the dead trees?

Then again the New York Daily News gave FTVLive credit and a link. Props to them.

The website Busted Coverage, which often gives FTVLive credit on stories, did so this time but called us FTV.com. Must have been written by an intern.

Awful Announcing came through with credit and a link, but also called us FTV Live.

Yahoo did the story and they gave credit to the Milwaukee Journal. Fuck Yahoo, who uses them anyway?

In other news, TVSpy gave FTVLive credit (but no link, which is lame) about the Kenny Plotnik story and that he would be out of a job in Boston. TVSpy wrote, "FTVLive first reported speculation that Poltnik’s departure would be announced during a staff meeting that was called for today.

It wasn't "speculation" it was fact and it happened.

Last but not least, someone pointed us to this story. TVNewsCheck's Harry Jessell did a story in which he linked to and mentioned FTVLive. The idea that Harry Jessell mentioned and linked to FTVLive means that Armageddon is certainly upon us. Plan accordingly.
