News Photog Busted for Stealing $15 -$20 Grand From the Boy Scouts
/A News Photographer that worked at Raycom's WLOX in Biloxi has been busted for stealing from the Boy Scouts.
Cops clamped the cuffs on Patrick Gibson and charged him with felony embezzlement by trust. Police say he stole between $15,000-$20,000 from Boy Scout Troop 205. Gibson was the Scout's Troop Leader until they removed him from that role last week.
Gibson was also a Photog for WLOX, who also removed him from that job after he was busted for stealing.
The station reported the story on their website and tried to distance themselves from Gibson as much as they could. The Raycom station wrote, "Because we want to be transparent, you should know that until this week, Gibson was a WLOX photographer. However, he no longer works here. We need to stress these allegations have nothing to do with the job he once had.
