New Anchor Named in Tucson

KVOA has named a new morning Anchor at the station.
The station announced that Alyx Dote is being moved from the weekends and will now to the weekday edition of “News 4 Tucson Today.”
Before joining KVOA in June 2016 as a Reporter/Multi-Media Journalist, Dote reported news for KRCR in Chico, CA.
“Alyx is a natural for our morning anchor chair,” said KVOA News Director, Cathie Batbie. “She has filled-in recently and built a great on-air rapport, not only with her co-anchors, but the audience loves her as well.”
“We’re fortunate to have a journalist, like Alyx, ready to promote into the morning anchor position,” said Bill Shaw, KVOA General Manager. “She has a great on-air presence and we’re excited to have her in the mornings.”
Dote will officially take over the morning Anchor chair Today.
