Scripps Pushes Out Motown Anchor

While the Scripps News Directors enjoy the Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios, one longtime Motown Anchor is looking for a new job. 

At Scripps owned WXYZ, longtime Anchor JoAnne Purtan was told her contract is not being renewed. 

FTVLive FIRST tipped you off that this was happening weeks ago. 

Purtan let viewers know that she was being pushed out on social media and she did it with straight up class. 

Hope her News Director appreciates that her longtime Anchor took the high road. You know, after the ND gets off the spinning teacups ride at Universal.
