Scripps Lays Off Staff, News Directors go to Universal Studios

FTVLive has been telling you about the layoffs that have been going down at both Scripps corporate and that the Scripps stations.  

While budget ax has been swinging, this week the Scripps News Directors are attending their corporate meetings at Universal Studios in Orlando. 

This is not sitting well with many in the rank and file. They are watching their co-workers pack up their desk, while their News Director is packing his/her suntan oil and headed to Orlando. 

Talk about a burn.
