Indy Station Names New Anchor

Nextsar owned WISH (Indianapolis)  has named Mike Barz evening news anchor.

Barz will join Brooke Martin to co-anchor WISH weekday evening newscasts at 6:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

Barz a follow Buffalo boy, most recently anchored the evening newscasts at KDVR-TV/KWGN-TV, in Denver Colorado. 

Barz has worked in Green Bay, Wisconsin; Jacksonville, Florida; Chicago, Illinois and New York City, where he was a reporter and weathercaster for "Good Morning America."

He starts at the station on March 26th.
