Chicago Photog Passes away

WLS in Chicago is remembering one of their longtime Photographers that passed away.  

ABC 7 Photographer Rolando Banda was the camera operator in Chopper7 from 2001 until 2013.

Banda died Sunday night.

"We worked together for over a dozen years bringing important traffic information to our morning newscast. His keen eye, attention to detail and news savvy made the am rush easier to manage for so many. Beyond that, he was a kind, caring person who would go out of his way to help you. We will miss you Rolando, and your beautiful smile," WLS traffic anchor Roz Varon wrote in a tribute on Facebook.

Banda was just 57 years old.
