NBC Says No to the Pyro at Super Bowl

Did you notice something missing from Justin Timberlake's Super Bowl halftime show?

No Pyro was used for the first time in recent Super Bowl memory and it was NBC that made the call.

A person that worked on the halftime show tells FTVLive, "We rehearsed with pyro at various times in the routine for several days. But, when it came to game day, we were told pyro was out. Apparently, NBC pulled the fuse on fireworks because they felt the indoor stadium couldn’t clear the air quick enough."

Field workers were told NBC is using new 4K HD cameras which provide the clearest picture yet.  NBC supposedly didn’t want the third quarter of football to look foggy from fireworks.

Thus, no big bang or big finish.
