Scaling Back in Cleveland
/Sources tell FTVLive that longtime Cleveland Anchor Bill Martin is moving a little closer to retirement.
Tribune owned WJW is expected to announce later Today that Martin will be scaling back his duties at the station.
Martin joined the station in 1994 and anchor 5, 7 and 10 p.m. editions of Fox 8 News. The station is consistently one of the top rated Fox affiliates in the country.
Martin is a big reason for the station's success.
Also, the fact that Martin is pulling back on his duties just as Sinclair is about to walk in the door, shows that he is also a smart guy to boot.
Must have gone to a very good high school.
Inside joke: Bill went to the same high school as both CBS Anchor Jeff Glor and as your humble FTVLive editor.
Hey, what can we say, Kenmore East puts out big stars.
