One of the biggest stories in Des Monies right now is about former KCCI Weatherman Frank Scaglione and the allegations of him using his social media to try and have inappropriate relationships with teenage boys.

KCCI fired Scaglione on Monday and FTVLive started digging around the story. But, the station has basically ignored the story about Scaglione.

Yesterday, KCCI finally made a statement. KCCI President and General Manager Brian Sather said, “the station was never contacted by Waukee schools or any police agency regarding Scaglione. Scaglione is no longer employed by KCCI.”

Police are investigating and it appears that KCCI is trying to distance themselves as far away from Scaglione as they can.

They have tried to ignore the story, but as it continues to grow and police continue to investigate, it's to the point that the station almost has to cover the story.

Don't be surprised when the lawsuits start popping up that you don't see KCCI named as a defendant.

I have a strong feeling that the station's lawyers are going to have a busy few months on their hands.
