Word is that Fox O&O WTTG decided that on the same day that the country was burying a former President, they would have an active shooter drill.

It seems that The Firm thought that while George H.W. Bush was being eulogized, it would get a great time to pretend their was a gunman in the building.

Back in October an unarmed man did break into the WTTG building by kicking in the doors. While he didn’t have a gun, he was still shot by one of the station’s security guards.

It’s all good that the station is now taking security more seriously, but I’m thinking you could have picked a better day for the drill.
