Out the Door in San Diego

Sources tell FTVLIve that KUSI in San Diego has parted way with Assistant News Director Tony Bernhardt.

When Bernhardt was hired in April, KUSI News Director Steve Cohen said, “We’re confident Tony will be bring his passion for news and digital to the team and will be a leader and mentor helping guide the future of KUSI-News.”

The future only last 6 months before he was shown the door.

Also, Producer Pamela Davis has left the station to become the communications manager at the Salvation Army in San Diego.

“At KUSI, I enjoyed the opportunity to schedule interviews of stories about the great things that everyday, regular people were doing in our community. Now, with the Salvation Army, I will continue to tell great stories,” said Davis.
