UGH! Shop My Look....

Somehow this has now become a thing and I’m sure any pure Journalist is not happy to see it.

WTSP (Tampa) Anchor Aubrey Jackson posted to her Facebook about how she has been working out, has lost weight and she is feeling better.

That’s great and we have no problem with that. It is at the end of the post, where she asks her followers to “Shop My Look” and tries to get them to spend their money and in turn give her some of it.

WTSP is owned by Tegna, but there are a number of other TV news personalities (will refrain from calling them Journalists) at other station groups doing this same thing.

Since when did it become OK for TV news people to shill products on the side?

What the hell is happening to this business?
