Throwing Shade in Harrisburg

WHTM Reporter Alex Peterson took a shot at TV news Reporters that do long interviews on Facebook live.

He posted this:

Obviously, Peterson is not a fan of “digital first”, but he also got some shade thrown his way by a crosstown rival, Brandon Long at WPMT, the Fox station that puts on a 10PM newscast, which starts and hour earlier than WHTM’s 11PM news.

It is here that it should be pointed out that WHTM is owned by Nexstar and WPMT is owned by Tribune.

That means, in a few months time, these two could both be working for the same company and be co-workers.

And this my friends is another reason why consolidation sucks.
