LA Stations Cover the Story of Anchor Found Dead

When the news came down that KTLA Anchor Chris Burrous was found dead in a Days Inn in Glendale, CA. all the Los Angelas stations covered the story.

KABC, KCBS, KNBC and KTTV all led their newscast with the news and with Reporters outside the Days Inn and all reported the fact that it was being looked at as a possible overdose.

KTLA had Rick Chambers in studio and he made no mention on Glendale Police, the Days Inn or the possible cause of death.

Over an hour later, KTLA followed up on the story and did include those facts.

Covering a death is not easy for any Reporter, but covering the death of someone you know, makes it that much harder.

That being said, KTLA owes to their viewers to report the entire story and include the facts. It’s not easy, but it is the job as a Journalist that we all signed up for.
