News Director is Bounced Out

Back in April, FTVLive did a story about how KAAL in Rochester, MN did a report on a woman named Heather Holmes who is running for Rochester City Council. 

Holmes is married to KAAL News Director David Springer and the station made no mention of that fact in the story on air, nor in the story online. 

We questioned if this was a breach of ethics?

Well, the station will not have to worry about disclosing that fact anymore, because according to an internal memo obtained by FTVLive, Springer has been sprung from the station:
