Gone in O-Town
/Back on December 3rd, FTVLive told you that many stations were blindsided when US Traffic Network (USTN) told their client TV stations that they were ceasing operations with less than a day notice.
Along with providing traffic data, many stations had a USTN Traffic Anchor embedded at their client stations. The Anchor appeared on the station’s air, but they were paid by USTN.
One of those people was Traffic Anchor Ted Noah, who was on the air at WESH in Orlando.
Sources say that Noah found out from back channels that the station would no longer be needing his services and that he was out of a job. Sources say that the station basically “ghosted him” as he was kicked to the curb.
