Yesterday, FTVLive told you that North Las Vegas police had arrested KSNV Sports Anchor/Reporter Randy Howe.

Howe was arrested on charges of open and gross lewdness, as well as indecent exposure.

Cops say that the Sinclair employee was exposing himself and masturbating at a North Las Vegas bar.

When confronted by police, Howe denied the allegations, saying he was “itching terribly” and was scratching himself, according to the arrest report.

A video surveillance system caught the alleged incident, police said. Howe was jailed on one count each of indecent exposure and open gross lewdness, police said.

An employee at the bar called police about 9:15 a.m. to report that a patron sitting at a slot machine at the bar had allegedly been masturbating, according to the report.

A worker told responding officers they noticed the patron display “strange behavior,” which included walking to the bathroom with his penis outside his pants, police said.

Surveillance video reviewed by police showed the patron unzip his pants and fondle himself, according to the report.

Howe insisted he was not masturbating, saying he had a severe rash and was scratching himself, the report said. He said he “probably shouldn’t have been scratching himself at the bar and that it was a bad decision,” according to the report.

Employees told police that this is not the first time that Howe came to the bar and he was seen masturbating inside the bar before.

KSNV is not commenting on the incident or their employee’s arrest. His bio remains on the station’s website.

I wonder if the Mayor of Las Vegas was caught masturbating in a bar if KSNV would cover that story?

I’m thinking they would.
