Both NBC and Fox News had pulled a controversial ad about an illegal immigrant deemed to be offensive.

When President Trump was asked about the ad being pulled he said, “I don't know about it. I mean, you're telling me something I don't know about. We have a lot of ads, but they certainly are effective based on the numbers that we see," the president said.

“A lot of folks have said that ad is offensive. Why did you like that ad?” a reporter asked.

"A lot of things are offensive. Your questions are offensive," Trump said.

Trump’s answer is akin to 5 year olds saying “You’re dumb,” …”No I’m not, you’re dumb.”

“After further review, we recognize the insensitive nature of the ad and have decided to cease airing it across our properties as soon as possible," Joe Benarroch, a spokesperson for NBC's advertising sales department, told NBC News.

After NBC’s announcement, Fox News said it decided on Sunday to stop airing the ad.

“Upon further review, Fox News pulled the ad yesterday and it will not appear on either Fox News Channel or Fox Business Network," Marianne Gambelli, president of ad sales for Fox News, said in an email.

CNN refused to run the ad.
