Tegna Shutout in Dallas Ratings
/There was a time in the Dallas TV news ratings when it was WFAA and then everyone else.
But, that was before the station was owned by Tegna and this past book, WFAA did not win a single newscast.
The November book showed that WFAA went winless for the first time in memory during a ratings month.
WFAA won the November 2017 sweeps at 10 p.m. in both ratings measurements while adding a 6 p.m. first in total viewers.
CBS’s KTVT won at 10 p.m. in total viewers with longtime anchor Doug Dunbar soloing while the station presumably continues to search for a replacement for Kaley O’Kelley.
KDFW won the morning numbers, while KXAS won the 6PM.
Maybe it is time for Tegna to admit that their new edict of doing a Facebook centric newscasts is not working.
Just saying…
