Really?

As FTVLive has pointed out, during sweeps stations will do just about anything to get viewers to watch.

Some stations give away prizes, many give away cash in an effort to bribe viewers to watch.

KBFX (Bakersfield) is also resorting to bribery for sweeps, but they aren’t exactly breaking the bank.

The Sinclair station is giving away a chess set….yes a chess set to lucky viewers that watch the news and are caller 58 to the station.

I won’t watch a station that is offering up $1,000 bucks and I can assure you I will not watch for the chance to win a chess set.

To each his own I guess.
