Let There Be KAKE

KAKE in Wichita has announced that Alyson Acklin, who had been anchoring the station's 11 a.m. Good Morning KAKEland show and KAKE News at 4, begins as the new morning Anchor, starting today.

Acklin takes the place of longtime co-anchor Jemelle Holopirek, who left the station Aug. 31.

According to her online KAKE bio, Acklin worked at KTEN in Denison, Texas. She is from Oklahoma City and attended the University of Central Oklahoma.
