EXCLUSIVE! Sinclair Wants Reporters to make an "Impact"

Bill Anderson, Director of News Content and Operations at Sinclair sent out a PDF on a new task that the stations are taking on.

It seems that Sinclair wants crews at their stations to do “impactful stories” that are exclusive to their market.

Here is the internal memo, obtained by FTVLive, from Anderson:

We do not argue with Anderson’s directive to produce “impactful” stories.

In the PDF, the Sinclair News Directors have been giving a directive in the new “Sinclair Revolution”:

FTVLive’s thought on this? Shouldn’t every story be “impactful” and if it’s not, why the hell is it in the newscast?

So what does the “Sinclair Revolution” consider an “Impactful story”?

The PDF finishes off with this:

Give me just a second, I have some tears in my eyes.
